BaileyBoy
Hello: Test here: http://www.thumbtackpress.com/browse/ Noob, but lovin' it. Acting as a new customer I am trying to create a dummy new account. Clicking continue takes me to the current page (and resets all of the fields) - no errors, nor confirmation, nor e-mail is sent. It worked this morning, but I don't feel the revisions I made during the day should've affected this. I've searched the forum but haven't found a precedent yet. Any ideas? Thanks so much! vatikanavenue
That website says exactly this: "Introduction When browsing the categories the letter 'n' seems to appears all by itself in inappropriate locations on the page. The most common locations for this to happen is in the category pages which is a subsection of index.php. Cause The most common cause of this problem is using the online file manager to edit files, it is possible for the file editor to change instances of "n", a newline, to "n". Note that the backslash has been removed. This effectively changes the web page to display the letter 'n' instead of a newline. Solution Using a normal file editor (i.e. NOT the online file manager), edit the same file that you'd previously edited with the file manager. catalog/index.php seems to be the most commonly edited file with this problem. Change all of the instances of "n"; to "n"; . "n" is the code for a newline. "n" is just the letter n." What the hell would changing "n" to "n" do .. it's the same thing? Also it says note that the backslash has been removes.. from which instance?! The info base isn't very accurate in my opinion. I'm still having troubles with my friends not being able to create an account; they can't get to the form page!
