listing of new products

What do I have to modify so that the 'Whats New Box' and 'new products' only displays products that are newer than a certain date ie. 1 week. The current settings seem to display all products.

 

I've looked at the product_new.php, and whats_new.php as well as searched the forum.

 

I must not see something obvious, that happens. Otherwise, everything seems to be going well with osCommerce. I've changed my main page, and added a few contributions.

 

Any help is appreciated.
