Some people, when they say they deleted other languages, have actually deleted the files via FTP - instead of just uninstalling them via the control panel. Is this what you did?

Reinstall the english language folder and all of its files, and then just uninstall the english language via your oscommerce control panel. This should cure the problem.

The prices being zero usually happens because you have made the Euro (EUR) your default currency in your control panel, but have not updated the language files manually.

In includes/languages/spanish.php look for 'USD' and change to 'EUR', and do the same in includes/languages/english.php (even if you don't use the language).
