Dragonmom
I thought i had done a good job editing a new copy of MS2.2 and migrating it to my domain- but I have no session ID's now. What file controls them? Or could it be a config issue? HELP! this is my live store! Luckily, I have the kind of client that will email me if they can't make a purchase, but now all of them are that nice. psst... wanna buy a wand? Wendy James
Ok, the first thing I see is that it act likes you added regular html links to atleast the top of the page, as your product/category links work correctly. Not sure about the information box though, those look like the standard osc box. How did you add the links at the top or did you just reword them in the language file? Dragonmom
the links at the top of the page- are you talking about the header links? They are kept from the header file, verbatim, I just removed the pictures... What's happening is that when anyone tries to add an item to their cart they get the nothing in your cart message. I've changed the message temporarily to a long-winded apology and an invitation to email me, and people are doing so... but it isn't good, not good at all. I went looking for contribs and I found a sessions ID killer- maybe that will give me a clue or two psst... wanna buy a wand?
♥Vger
Look under Configuration --> Sessions in your osCommerce control panel - to see if you have Force Cookie Use set to true. This will remove your session ids - as it is supposed to do (it places them in a cookie instead). But this would not cause items not to be added to the basket. Most likely you have a wrong http_cookie domain setting in your includes/configure.php file. Make sure it is set to www.yourdomain.com or just yourdomain.com (either way - no http:// in front).
