My shop can only be viewed from localhost

Hi,

Please help me! I am stuck again!

When using any other computer other that the one my server and osc is installed on I can't view my shop properly.

In the http://mydomainname/oscommerce/index.php file other computers see the first page of my catalog but none of the pictures or changes I have made to fonts/colours etc... And when clicking on any link on this first page the browser trys to go to http://localhost/oscommerce/index.php?(various strange code here) and so I only get the "Page cannot be displayed" error

I see this is going to be a really popular shop if it can only be viewed from my own computer ! ! ! ! :(

is this computer local network or on the internet?

do you have an internal domain name?

perhaps do it by ip address if you are trying to see it in a local area network.

This is the code from my .../oscommerce/includes/configure.php - hope this is the right one.

I notice localhost is written in it alot, do I just change that bit each time to say the ip address I am using?

I have now changed the following bit of code, so the localhost bit is my ip address, and that seems to make it work. Is there anything else I need to change?

define('HTTP_SERVER', 'http://localhost'); // eg, http://localhost - should not be empty for productive servers
