Blank Shopping Cart

Yes another problem :angry:

When I click on Add to Cart, instead of getting the view cart page with the products I am getting a plain white blank page, this has not been changed and has only started earlier this evening....

I have only added 1 page (meta_tags.php) which hasnt affected anything.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Have you got php error reporting set on?

I would guess from your description that you have got a php error that is stopping the page displaying but the error message isn't being sent to the screen.

that is one option - but your best bet is to get the error_reporting working (if that is the problem)

in application_top.php near the top you should find a line near the top refering to error_reporting

i.e.

error_reporting(E_ALL & ~E_NOTICE);

before that put this:

ini_set ('display_errors', 1);

which hopefully will show what the error on your webpage is (depending on how your server is set up).

Sorry wrong file...

error lies here:

define('HEADING_TITLE', 'What\'s In My Cart?');

I'm guessing there is a missing ; on the line before.

If not post the actual error message and the line in question and a few before it.

Starting with the first line...

define('NAVBAR_TITLE', 'Cart Contents');

define('HEADING_TITLE', 'What\'s In My Cart?');

define('TABLE_HEADING_REMOVE', 'Remove');

Error:

Parse error: parse error in C:\Domains\1st-for-furniture.co.uk\wwwroot\catalog\includes\languages\english\shopping_cart.php on line 14

I can't see anything wrong with that line at all.

Are you sure that is the code that the webserver is using?

Just to make sure can you put a few blank lines before line 14 to see if the line number of the error changes accordingly.
