PayPal Orders Not Entered into DB

Over the past 3 months or so, we have received 3-4 PayPal payments via our osC (2.2 MS2) cart. We receive the notice from PayPal, but no order is entered into the osC database. It appears to be a hit-and-miss situation, as we have also successfully received several PayPal orders.


Since we don't really like to call the customer to ask what they ordered (esp. after PayPal has already processed their payment), is this a known issue and can it be fixed? Or is it on PayPal's side of things?
