Table configuration for products

When people are scrolling through the available products that I have.... I do not want there to be a picture available...... only when they click on a link do I want them to be able to see a picture.....

Ideally, what I would like is a two or three colum list of just the products that i have (one that does not show the prices or anything)

and then when people click on the product have them see the product pic, description, and price, and have them be able to buy it from there.

any suggestions?

If you go into your admin area and click on configuration then product listing you can tell osc what to put on the page that lists all the items in a category. You can remove the image by setting it to 0... if that is the page you are talking about.

that is an EXCELLENT start.

I also see how i can eliminate the buy now column as well.

now, is there a way to make it so that the only thing that would appear would look like below

a b c

d e f

g h i .......

where each of the letters is a product name... and each is a link to the actual product listing.

Thanks for the help

Check the contributions. there are a few for replacing the default listing with columns.

You could try one of the product listing modules. The list the items like the specials box. That would allow you to have more rows and columns than the standard one item per row.

Here are a couple of links

I also think if you look through the contributions that there is one that will list all of your products in a drop down box. Could be put on the information pages so people don't have to go backwards to see everything you have.

No, sorry, the contributions are the only way I know how to change the layout of that page.
