Product listing view change

Hi,

I was trying to change the way my product list shows up. I don't want it to show up as a table, but as series of images with names. I found a file in contributions and used it. This is what I got:

1064 - You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 'select p.products_image, pd.products_name, p.products_id, p.man

select count(select p.products_image, pd.products_name, p.products_id, p.manufacturers_id, p.products_price, p.products_tax_class_id, IF(s.status, s.specials_new_products_price, NULL) as specials_new_products_price, IF(s.status, s.specials_new_products_price, p.products_price) as final_price from products_description pd, products p left join manufacturers m on p.manufacturers_id = m.manufacturers_id, products_to_categories p2c left join specials s on p.products_id = s.products_id where p.products_status = \'1\' and p.products_id = p2c.products_id and pd.products_id = p2c.products_id and pd.language_id = \'1\' and p2c.categories_id = \'31\' order by pd.products_name) as total

My suspicion is that this instruction is wrong, or I have understood it incorrectly:

Catalog alterations

In english.php in the catalog/includes/languages/[english]/english.php

// Product_listing.php Add

define('LISTING_DISPLAY_OPTION','Display Option:');

define('LISTING_SORT_BY','Sort By:');

define('LISTING_PRICE_LOW','Price Low');

define('LISTING_PRICE_HIGHT','Plice Hight');

define('LISTING_TITLE_A_TO_Z','Title A to Z');

define('LISTING_TITLE_Z_TO_A','Title Z to A');

define('SORT_BY_IMAGE_TEXT','Title Image');

define('SORT_BY_IMAGE','Image');

Any help would be highly apprecate

Please help

thanks...
