Can someone please help me?? I am trying to secure my site along with my ecommerce. 2 out of 4 pages on my site have the little lock. The 2 that don't are both linked to my catalog. My catalog doesn't have the lock either.

I've done everything you guys have said. I checked my configure files, even had my host do it and he couldn't figure it out.

I tried the application_top file, but not really sure what one to do.(tried both)

I have bought my own license.

Does anyone have the answer????

In the standard ssl setup off osCommerce, the catalog will not show the padlock.

It is supposed to show up only when you go to checkout, ie. login , create account and so on....

If it works like that on your site today, then its already ok.....

If not post your web site address her, so we can have a look and direct you in the right direction.

I think part of the problem is that it doesn't know how to change on it's own from http to https.

Does anyone know how to change it so it will know to link to the secure pages?

I think the problem might be in your configure.php. Double check the https configurations

Well Katie, I'm not an expert but I compaired yours to mine and found this.

Change this

define('HTTPS_SERVER', 'https://framesbykatie.com/'); // eg, https://localhost - should not be empty for productive servers

To his

define('HTTPS_SERVER', 'https://www.framesbykatie.com/'); // eg, https://localhost - should not be empty for productive servers
I hope this helps.
