first, you will need to delete the install directory

then make the images directory writeable, ie 777

did you change your configure.php in any way?

I was trying to upload a contribution and this happened: My Webpage

I backtracked everything I did, but it doesn't help.

What can I do?

your base href is wrong which probably means that your configure.php is wrong.

now the server looks for css and your images in the root directory and they are in the catalog sub directory.

Thanks for your help guys.

I restored the install folder and ran through it again - that fixed it but I'm still not sure what I did to break it in the first place.
