My store is here

At the bottom of the page on the left hand side is a mass of white space....I want to be able to put an image in that space...

I entered the normal php code to add an image into the main Index.php but I got an unexpected parse error....

Can anyone help please....

I added this code...

<tr>

<td><img src="shop/includes/languages/english/images/buttons/ecommerce.jpg"></td>

</tr>

and got this error...

Parse error: parse error, unexpected '<' in /home/putabitz/public_html/shop/index.php on line 379

BTW, Line 379 is as follows:

<tr>

This is the beginning of the code that I inserted !!!! Anyone ???

Thanks I have tried your advice and it worked...but the problem is because it is not in the footer...it pushs the mass of white space further down the page...

I have now tried inserting into the footer....and get this error...

Parse error: parse error, unexpected T_STRING in /home/putabitz/public_html/shop/includes/languages/english.php on line 342

Here is the code I have inserted into Footer.php...

define('FOOTER_TEXT_BODY', '<left><!-- Start Shop Online -->
<a href="http://www.putabitz.com/shop/index.php" target="_blank"><img src="includes/languages/english/images/buttons/ecommerce.jpg" border="0" alt="Shop Online"><P></P></A><!-- End Shop Online --></left><br>

define('FOOTER_TEXT_BODY', '<right><!-- Begin Official PayPal Seal -->
<a href="https://www.paypal.com/verified/[email protected]" target="_blank"><img src="http://www.paypal.com/en_US/i/icon/verification_seal.gif" border="0" alt="Official PayPal Seal"><P><IMG SRC="images/VISA.jpg" ALT="VISA Card" BORDER="0">
<IMG SRC="images/MasterCard.jpg" ALT="Master Card" BORDER=0>
<IMG SRC="images/DiscoverCard.jpg" ALT="Discover Card" BORDER=0>
<IMG SRC="images/AmxCard.jpg" ALT="American Express" BORDER=0>
<IMG SRC="images/e-check.jpg" ALT="e-check" BORDER=0>
</P></A><!-- End Official PayPal Seal --></right><br>

Line 342 is:

define('FOOTER_TEXT_BODY', '<right><!-- Begin Official PayPal Seal -->

Please can anyone help ?

Looks like you got a block to the left with the Date in it that is in the space you want your logos to be.

<table align="center" border="0" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" width="775">

<tbody><tr class="footer">

<td class="main" style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);" align="left" valign="bottom">Sunday 08 May, 2005</td>

<td class="footer" align="right">

Check your footer.php for something like:

<td class="footer">  <?php echo strftime(DATE_FORMAT_LONG); ?>  </td>

That's where the date "block" is coming from...Looks like you added your bits after that instead of adding it to that <td> or replacing that with your new stuff...

Yes....where do I enter that ????

I have this in my footer.php file which is the date...

<TD align="left" class="main" style="color: #000000;" valign="bottom"><?php echo strftime(DATE_FORMAT_LONG); ?></TD>
	 <TD align="right" class="footer">

Please can you let me know what the code should be for entering the new image just above it...

I am very new to PHP so apologises for my newbie style questions ! lol
