halma07
One thing I am not clear on - if I allow Paypal (and cheque) on my store, I presume that the credit card bit is done on the Paypal site which is secure. So do I need an SSL certificate? Also, I have been looking at the contributions, and I see that there is one to allow the customer to bypass opening an account. So in the case where they pay by Paypal, they would enter their name/address details on the Paypal site, so would the details be stored in my database at all? Do I need an SSL cert for name/addresses, or just credit cards? Marie
ckyshop.co.uk
Totally up to you. I would say strictly no, but your customers may be more willing to shop with you if they feel secure - even if it's not actually necessary. Thanks for any help/comments.
