Guest
I have installed the Header Tags Controller contribution but the default description and keywords won't change from the osCommerce text eg 'osCommerce : What\'s New Here? - Hardware Software DVD Movies' and 'Hardware Software DVD Movies What\'s New Here?'. Can anyone tell me where to find these so i can change them manually? Thanks in advance
Wendy James
They are in your language files. catalog/includes/languages/yourlanguage but that contribution works well, are you sure you installed everything and followed all the instructions? You edit them in the admin area, not on the actual pages once everything is installed. Wendy James Creativity is allowing yourself to make mistakes. Art is knowing which ones to keep. So what i'm trying to do is edit those two sections manually as everything else seems ok. Do you think it will work ok if I do it this way? Thanks for your help. Wendy James
That is strange. I have installed that on a couple of sites and not had that problem. I am not sure what will happen if you edit them manually but it should be ok... if the contribution isn't writing to the files anyhow it isn't going to mess it up. Are you sure you added the code to all of the catalog files? Wendy James Creativity is allowing yourself to make mistakes. Art is knowing which ones to keep. ♥Vger
I'm guessing that you are using the Header Tags Contribution, and not the Dynamic Meta Tags contribution. In which case the default defines you need to alter will be found in includes/languages/english/header_tags.php Vger
