kunal247
Hi, I am new to all this and this is my first attempt to build a site. Must say looking through this forum, found that it to be most useful forums and this is what made me decide to go ahead with osCommerce v2.2 Just started to build the site, as standard format the Zone is set to Florida. I am based in the UK and dont require Zones for TAX purposes. How do I remove Floriday from the Tax Zones? Or perhaps add UK Zones to it? Found All UK Zones 1.0 in the contributions section but dont know how to install it Please Help!! :( Thanks in advance. Kunal
RojanUK
If you haven't made any modifications, or installed any contributions yet I would advice going with the UK Based osCommerce contribution. This will change the zones, but also the date layout and address layout. However it is designed to be installed over a new, unmodified, install of osCommerce, so if you haven't made any changes yet, this is the way to go. Guest
To Select a different Zone than the default Florida Zone: And Example (using England). In Admin: 1. go to Locations / Taxes 2. click on Zones 3. Click The New Zone button at the bottom of the page 4. put England as the Zones Name: 5. put En as the Zones Code: 6. select United Kingdom as the Country: 7. go to Configuration 8. click on My Store 9. select Zone from the list in My Store 10. click the Edit button on the right of Zone 11. choose England from the Drop Down Menu 12. Click the Update Button and the zone is changed instantly.
