longroad Posted May 5, 2005 Share Posted May 5, 2005 Im starting up a store with only download products. People will be paying by paypal before being able to download the product. I've got it set up and its now working, however Im wondering how secure it actually is. If the download objects (products) are stored in the download directory, and this directory needs chmod 777 permissions, cannot just anyone, if knowledgable on the directory structure of the site, just go there and view all my products in that directory? Same thing goes for the pub folder. Im just wondering how all that works. Any explanations appreciated. Thanks :) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
