wisconsin
I am setting up a new store where access is via login only. Our customers are construction contractors. I'm stumped on how to accomplish the following: Our customer would like to add items to their cart throughout the day - logging in and out each time. At the end of the work day, they wish to proceed to checkout and have their cart show all the items placed there during the day. I prefer not to use a procedural workaround such as a Wish List or invoking Unsold Carts as an admin. Is this possible? I'm a newbie who is very impressed with osCommerce. Thanks in advance

Thanks in advance <{POST_SNAPBACK}> When your user signs in, anything added to a shopping cart is saved. Then, when they return and login, all the contents already added are there. No need for a contribution for this feature. GEOTEX from Houston, TX (George)

jasonabc
hi guys - do you know of a way to *disable* this? I.e. a user's shopping cart is NOT saved automatically? I'm having an issue where users are adding items to their cart that are in stock and then they log off (maybe plan to come back and purchase later). The item subsequently goes out of stock. When the user returns and logs in they have the item in their cart and can checkout with it. Basically it circumvents the QT Pro attribute stock check (which prevents adding out of stock items to the cart) resulting in a -1 stock number and inventory is being sold that doesn't exist. Any ideas? Jason My Contributions: Paypal Payflow PRO | Rollover Category Images | Authorize.net Invoice Number Fix
