From the knowledge base:

Set the permissions to 777 for the install on these files:

/catalog/includes/configure.php

/catalog/admin/includes/configure.php

If these permissions are not set correctly you will get an error when installing telling you the permissions are not set correctly.

Open your web browser, and point it to yourserver/catalog/install/ and follow the Installation Procedure.

Hi! Thanks for the quick answer...set the permissions to 777 for the install on these files:

/catalog/includes/configure.php

/catalog/admin/includes/configure.php

I open configure.php and I see more script ... <_<

You have to CHMOD them with your FTP program.

Mostly you can right click and select permissions or CHMOD or something.

CHMOD sets permissions

You need to set permissions.

I already explained how

Right click file

go to FTP commands

select CHMOD

It would help if you described what you do see.

It would also help if you read instructions on this from your FTP program (help or website) Since this has little to do with oscommerce
