spdracer22
http://www.signaturelink.com Basically, it works like the electronic signature pads at the grocery store. The website customer uses his/her mouse to sign in a box, just as if he/she was signing a paper document. The image is then stored with the email/ip addresses of the customer. The point is to reduce chargebacks and fraud by collecting a confirmation signature. I haven't come across much information about it, besides a press release... It looks like promising technology, but I'm still a bit skeptical that it's actually worth the $19.95/month... Maybe there's another solution out there somewhere? Input is greatly appreciated... -spd

Add our patent pending electronic signature box on your signup form. It's EASY! Just copy and paste a few lines of HTML and that's IT! You're up and running in seconds. And it's very cost effective too. It's just a $19.95 one-time setup fee and 25 cents per signature with a $19.95/Mo. min. To get started, signup below. You can see how it works in action right here. It would have been nice of them to place this on the front page or in a more easily noticable spot... -spd

I found this on a news site SignatureLink.com Founders File Suit Against Cypress Funding LLC A lawsuit filed on August 30, 2007 in circuit court of the 17th judicial circuit in Broward County, Florida names the funding group Cypress Funding and other parties. The lawsuit accuses Cypress Funding, LLC, a Mississippi based firm, and Ernie Coward, an appointed executive representative to SignatureLink, of failing to act on many opportunities in the best interest of Signature Link, Inc., failing to capitalize on a buyout opportunity by a major ecommerce gateway provider, of improperly exercising it's proxy vote to remove the founders of the company from the board of directors, of improperly terminating the employment founders of the company without severence pay, of improperly trying to squeeze out the founders of the company to exercise warrant rights at a lower value as a result of their intentional failure to pursue business opportunities, resulting in a gain for Cypress Funding and all detriment to SignatureLink Plantiffs, of breaching the fiduciary duty of loyalty of trust, and of breaching the implied duty of good will and fair dealing. According to several affadavits, complaints have been filed against Cypress Funding, Ernie Coward, and a negotiator who mediated between SignatureLink and Cypress Funding about these matters, of false representation about terms of the funding agreement between Cypress Funding and SignatureLink, Inc. SignatureLink plantiffs are asking for a judgement against Cypress Funding and other parties involved.
