H4eafy
I have filled out the whole 'banner manager' thing on my os commerce admin section on www.mikestackleshop.com However, the banner is not showing on my site. Can anyone help me out on this one? Why is it not showing? Thanks. mikestackleshop - Loads of Fishing Gear
♥Vger
Most common cause of this happening is deleting the existing osCommerce banner before adding your own. If you do it that way around then you delete the default banner group (468x50) - and without belonging to a banner group your banner won't show up. Wendy James
Go into your admin, go to tools, then banner manager and look to see if you have a group there... should be 468x50. If you do just add your banners to it, if you do not then create a new group with 468x50 as the new banner group. If they are not assigned to that group they will not show up on the page because that is the group the footer.php is calling for. Wendy James Creativity is allowing yourself to make mistakes. ♥Vger
Go to your osC control panel, click on Tools, then Banner Manager, select New Banner. Give the banner a title (required) Banner URL - where the banner will take people to. Banner Group Image - locate the image on your own computer (for upload) Image Target (Save To) - already defined up to 'images' folder, but suggest you add 'banners/' HTML text - don't put anything here - as the page says if you add text it will override the image. Scheduled At and Expires on - leave blank to start immediately Vger
