Where do I get this information and do I need to create it? if someone could tell me what steps I need to take I would appreciate it. ♥Vger Posted May 3, 2005 Share Posted May 3, 2005 If this is a local install (on an intranet on your computer - for testing purposes) then it is almost certainly 'localhost'. In an online environment it will most likely be 'localhost' but may also be '127.0.0.1' If you are with a web hosting company that uses seperate servers for mysql databases then the address will be specific to the company you are hosted with and the mysql server your site is allocated to - and in this case you'll have to get that info from them.
