ymistry
I"m a web designer with no coding experience whatsoever. I normally with a freelance web developer who seems to have disappeared recently. I'm under a tight deadline and need a bit of help! I need to have my OScommerce site up and running by Tuesday night. Right now when someone tries to buy anything it says "This is a default setup of the oscommerce project, products shown are for demonstrational purposes, any products purchased will not be delivered nor will the customer be billed. Any information seen on these products is to be treated as fictional" Is the os commerce site in some sort of test mode? I turned test mode off from authorize.net but don't know what to do next. The message above comes with an explanation of how to ge rid of the message, I tried it and it didn't work. I need to emphasize that I have no coding background, so if someone could walk me through what to do step by step I would really appreciate it. Also, eventually I'd like to customize the look of the site. Looking around these forums I've seen some talk about being able to create a graphic template for the store pages. Can someone explain to me how to implement this? Can I do it using Dreamweaver? Thanks so much for your help!
