Chezmoi Posted May 1, 2005 Posted May 1, 2005 Hi, I have a hard time wondering how to be able to get different shipping prices for different items from different locations to different locations... Basically, I could use Canada Post (I live in Canada) but I do not have all the items in stock at my home. I use drop-shipping from USA. So, what to do? If I set a single rate fee, I will have trouble because shipping in USA or in Canada is not the same. Also, I deal with companies who cannot ship to Canada at all... What I'd like would be: - Each item can be sent only to specific countries with specific prices; - Since I use drop-shipping my "location" is not the same for each item... Anybody has any idea what to do? Am I the only one from Canada using dropshipping with osCommerce? Thank you!
Chezmoi Posted May 2, 2005 Author Posted May 2, 2005 Another thing... I tried to set the "per item" rate but Paypal only takes the sub-total and do not consider the osCommerce shipping cost I added. Sure, I could use Paypal's own shipping cost options, but then it is not shown in osCommerce and it looks awful... This is really a mess... Can hardly believe how complicated this is...
Chezmoi Posted May 2, 2005 Author Posted May 2, 2005 Do you think the Ebay auction manager for osCommerce would be a solution? Thanks!

Chezmoi Posted May 2, 2005 Author Posted May 2, 2005 I tried to install auctionblox program but when I try to install it here is the message I get: Warning: main(includes/application_top.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/louisp/domains/chezlouis.ca/public_html/catalog/admin/auctionblox.php on line 11 Fatal error: main(): Failed opening required 'includes/application_top.php' (include_path='.:/usr/local/lib/php') in /home/louisp/domains/chezlouis.ca/public_html/catalog/admin/auctionblox.php on line 11 Any idea? Is it possible that this is due because I installed osCommerce in /catalog directory instead of putting it right on my site? Please help! Thanks!
Chezmoi Posted May 2, 2005 Author Posted May 2, 2005 This is weird... I have both a /iadmin and a /admin folder and both have osCommerce files in it... Hmm...
Chezmoi Posted May 2, 2005 Author Posted May 2, 2005 Anyone else have trouble setting osCommerce's shipping module for different location shipping?
