Oh Gosh

Just tipped my toe into trying to edit the index.php file. The one in the include/language/english folder. I just changed a few words in the text ( I was very careful about not moving any thing that should be there. I put it back in place and then went to the previously working page. I got an error about unexpected t_string. I put the backup index.php file back to correct the error but I'm still getting an error as follows:

Parse error: parse error, unexpected T_STRING in /homepages/15/d124945708/htdocs/catalog/index.php on line 13

Can someone please point me in the right direction please?

Thanks

check your text string for extra php symbols, i.e. ' , $, " and such... sounds like the processor is being stopped prematurely

if you replaced it with the original index file, make sure you refresh

Thanks for that. I have refreshed the browser and still the same. It's a little strange.
