hello,

would any of you happen to know what url or ip goes into the database server for new install; database import in the install process of Oscommerce for registerfly.com users (webhosting)? they had us on plesk and the only other thing i can find out it my database is on localhost....??

I've tried my IP address for my site,

my site's url and various others.

here the response i get when i enter my url:

Host '69.50.209.109' is not allowed to connect to this MySQL server

Usually they answer my support tickets rapidly. This one hasn't even been marked as open yet...

Thanks.

Tina

You need to take this up with your host....They should provide the support for you not being able to connect to the SQL server....

My SQL server is installed on the hosting server and therefore is locahost....but this is clearly not the case for yourself....
