Guest
Hi, In my admin, when I click Tools>Database Backup it has a pink band at the top of the page and says: "Error: Backup directory does not exist. Please set this in configure.php" I DO have a directory called "backups" in catalog>admin and it is chmod to 777. I opened configure.php and I don't see any setting for backups there. What am I doing wrong? Thanks! Debbie HotRomz.com
OceanRanch
Make sure you are looking at catalog/admin/includes/configure.php and not catalog/includes/configure.php. There are two different files. In the admin one you'll see define('DIR_FS_BACKUP', DIR_FS_ADMIN . 'backups/'); HTH Tom
Guest
Hi, Thanks for the quick reply. I found that file and that line is there exactly as you copied it. But it still doesn't work. It still says to "set this in configure.php". I can't figure out why it keeps saying this. Guest
Sorry - here are a few more details. In my admin>Database backup manager it says: Backup Directory: /homepages/18/d92477265/htdocs/admin/backups/ Shouldn't the path include "catalog" in it? Like this: Backup Directory: /homepages/18/d92477265/htdocs/catalog/admin/backups/ here is what I have in configure.php: define('DIR_WS_ADMIN', '/admin/'); define('DIR_FS_ADMIN', DIR_FS_DOCUMENT_ROOT . DIR_WS_ADMIN); define('DIR_WS_CATALOG', '/catalog/'); define('DIR_FS_CATALOG', DIR_FS_DOCUMENT_ROOT . DIR_WS_CATALOG); define('DIR_WS_IMAGES', 'images/'); define('DIR_WS_ICONS', DIR_WS_IMAGES . 'icons/'); define('DIR_WS_CATALOG_IMAGES', DIR_WS_CATALOG . 'images/'); define('DIR_WS_INCLUDES', 'includes/'); define('DIR_WS_BOXES', DIR_WS_INCLUDES . 'boxes/'); define('DIR_WS_FUNCTIONS', DIR_WS_INCLUDES . 'functions/'); define('DIR_WS_CLASSES', DIR_WS_INCLUDES . 'classes/'); define('DIR_WS_MODULES', DIR_WS_INCLUDES . 'modules/'); define('DIR_WS_LANGUAGES', DIR_WS_INCLUDES . 'languages/'); define('DIR_WS_CATALOG_LANGUAGES', DIR_WS_CATALOG . 'includes/languages/'); define('DIR_FS_CATALOG_LANGUAGES', DIR_FS_CATALOG . 'includes/languages/'); define('DIR_FS_CATALOG_IMAGES', DIR_FS_CATALOG . 'images/'); define('DIR_FS_CATALOG_MODULES', DIR_FS_CATALOG . 'includes/modules/'); define('DIR_FS_BACKUP', DIR_FS_ADMIN . 'backups/'); I can't figure out to make this work and I need to backup my database. Thanks!
