Once i am finished uploading all of my images and have already tried "TURNING ON THE MODULE FOR PAYPAL / CREDIT CARD....the following keeps appearing...

Not Found

The requested URL /shop/checkout_shipping.php was not found on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Apache/1.3.33 Server at esc25.midphase.com Port 443

What am I missing???

>_<

Can someone please help?

:-"

Or give a brief explanation on how the linkage goes between my site...os cart...the client and the Processor?

Thank You Much. :

make sure your checkout_shipping.php is physically there, if it is, the permissions should be set at 644.

if all that checks out, check your includes/config file , make sure your directory paths are correct, also your admin/includes/config (for good measure)

your pay pal connection is: https://secure.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr

and it's located in the file: includes/modules/payment/paypal.php

Sorry for getting back so late...but just wanted to "Thank You" on my reply. :D

One last question...do you know why i would lose that file?

I believe I had my hosting company install that automatically upon my request. Why would that file get lost?

It sounds as though there is an error somewhere in your includes/configure.php file - because even if you get the error that a certain file cannot be found you should not then get the error that "Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request. "

I changed my permissions to 644....and changed the path to http://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr

but still i do not get this message...even though i do see it the remote directory

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request. "
