rummageauction
Hello, This is the second script I've tried. and it must be something with my server cause i've gotten fairly the same results. please be so kind, any of you who might help this novice out is greatly appreciated. I used registerly.com webhosting and domain services. i've installed the script onto my http://happyhomemom.com (no pun intended :) When attempting to run the install; ie "open your web browser, and point it to yourserver/catalog/install/ and follow the installation procedure; so I type: http://happyhomemom.com/catalog/install and get this: Access forbidden! You don't have permission to access the requested directory. There is either no index document or the directory is read-protected. If you think this is a server error, please contact the webmaster Error 403 happyhomemom.com Thu 28 Apr 2005 05:23:19 PM MST Apache/2.0.40 (Red Hat Linux) == please advise..... Thank you very very very much! Tina

Guest
you have the catalog folder in the wrong directory....you need to put it in inside of the happyhomemom.com directory, you have it in httpdocs directory now.

♥Vger
The httpdocs directory is the root directory for your domain. Jemlin1's post is incorrect. ♥Vger
By the way, registerfly.com operates with register globals disabled in php.ini. This means you'll have to install the register globals patch. Vger
