problem linking to new page

I created a new page and when it links to it, the page shows up just like my home page. The problem is i already edited the text and double checked to make sure it uploaded. But it shows just how the homepage is and not how i edited it, and the url that shows shows the name of the file i created and not the homepage so i know it is going to the right place. What could i have done wrong? www.uptechdistributors.com/3d and then on the left colum toward the bottom is a link that says affiliates. that is the page i am having the problem with

Well my guess is that you created a new root level file for the new page out of a root level index.php, without changing FILENAME_DEFAULT to the new filename.
