Loading orders into Excel

I am running a shopping cart for the retired Mil. living in Norway. We use the cart four times a year, with an average order size of around 35,000 Lbs. What I need is to have the orders not only go out as emails, but also be sent to an excel file. That way way I do not have to load the items by hand. ( About 400 plus line items ) After all have ordered I can copy the file to a new location and empty the old one so it will be ready for the next order.

I am not a programmer, so ( Keep It Simple )

I use easy to down and upload all my items (845) when I make changes to my prices, and it works realy well. The only problem I have had is, if you mark an item "status to inactive" and use easy to down & upload. You will get the item doubled up on your data file on the upload.

Thanks

Once you have downloaded with EP can't you drop the items on the site before uploading?

Yes I do that with EP... That part is not a real problem to me... I can live with it... The real problem is getting around 45 orders in three days from the cart, to Access in time to get the order set south. I have all the order forms in access, so I need to get all the items in and no mistakes..... I messed up on the last order and ordered the wrong coffee for one of them... I got an ear full for that one.

So please help..

I have just been looking at phpmyadmin and it seems that you can export text for excel. I have got to go out now but perhaps you can have a look at this.

Bruce - You could try my Auto Emailer script (see signature). One of the example scripts shows how to send an excel file. The layout is most likely not what you need but it is easy to change. If you cannot find another solution it might do the job.
