millwood Posted April 28, 2005 Posted April 28, 2005 I hope someone can help me, because I have read through the forums & knowledge base & I'm still not trusting myself regarding backing up my website. I have all but completed my web (including catalog) & I have been worried that I don't have a backup of all my work. Can anyone tell me (from start to finish) how I backup my website? Also does this backup the catalog/products? Thank you in advance! :thumbsup:
Winterchild Posted April 28, 2005 Posted April 28, 2005 You can use FTP to copy all your files (all the files and folders of the shop) from your server to your local machine. Check if everything is there. You can make a backup from the database with the backup tool under tools in admin. Check if all tables are listed. Backup database again.
