removing default images?

I would like to remove all of the default oscommerce gifs from my store, i have downloaded the remove default images file form the contibutions part of oscommerce but i need help with what to do next, can anyone please give me some further instruction on what to do once you have downloaded the remove default images file?

The easiset way to remove those images (without using the contrib ) is to mod your files

 

Search thro ALL files for lines that have table_background_*.gif where * is the name of an image - comment these out - job done
