File Download Problems

LSM

Recommended Posts

I seem to be having a problem with the File Download feature. As soon as you click on check out, I get an error:

Warning: is_dir(): open_basedir restriction in effect. File(/home/httpd/vhosts/lsmfoc.com/httpdocs/download/) is not within the allowed path(s): (/home/httpd/vhosts/lsmfoc.com/httpsdocs:/tmp) in /home/httpd/vhosts/lsmfoc.com/httpsdocs/includes/header.php on line 46

Besides that error, I get this pink highlighted error:

Warning: The downloadable products directory does not exist: /home/httpd/vhosts/lsmfoc.com/httpdocs/download/. Downloadable products will not work until this directory is valid.

I made sure the pub folder is 777 and download folder is 755. I have also checked to make sure the forward slashes in catalog/includes/configure.php for

define('DIR_FS_DOWNLOAD', DIR_FS_CATALOG . 'download/');
define('DIR_FS_DOWNLOAD_PUBLIC', DIR_FS_CATALOG . 'pub/');

Here is the code from catalog/includes/header.php:

As for why it says that the products directory does not exist (which it does), I have no Idea. I couldnt CHMOD the folder if it doesnt exist right?-hehe

Any input would be great. Thanks

nope. take a look...its off

I am getting the same exact error.. everything is there and set properly, but when you try to checkout you get the above error..

Anyone know what is causing this??

I am using it for the Gift Vouchers so that customers can purchase and then send to others to use in my store...

Thanks

Try this: in your includes/configure.php is where the directory info is. It seems as though you have your directories listed as if you are directly on the server, which of course you aren't. Instead of (example) "/home/httpd/vhosts/lsmfoc.com/httpdocs/download/" try: "/httpdocs/download". Be sure to back up everything and make sure you know exactly how your site is laid out as well. You may only need to have "/download" if this makes any sense. It all depends on how your site is laid out...your main directory where the store is actually located, where your download directory is located etc. Also make sure uppercase/lowercase is exact...it definately makes a difference. I hope this helps, and doesnt make you more confused. Good luck!
