New to Oscommerce

I have my default currency set to British Pound (GBP), however, the catalog keeps defaulting to USD. I have both these currencies in my currencies section, and even when the user selects British Pound on a page, by the time they get to the next page, it has defaulted back to US Dollar. When I deleted the dollar currency leaving just the Brisith Pound in my Currencies, all items prices show up as '0' - nothing else

 

Any ideas?

Check these steps:

1. In Admin -> Localization -> Currencies -> Edit your Currency (GPB) -> set value to 1.0 and set as Default Currency.

2. In Admin -> Configuration -> my store - set "Switch To Default Language Currency" to false

3. Add other currencies if needed (see step 1), and for each currency enter the exchange rate based on your default currency (remember that your default currency should have the value of 1.0 for this to work correctly)

Make sure that you default currency is set to GBP in the english.php file which you will find in this folder includes/languages
