Paypal problems

Hi, firts of all sorry for my bad english anyway i'll try to explain my problem...;)

I installed PayPal_Shopping_Cart_IPN_v3.1.5 contrib, i have 2 test account on sandbox.paypal (personal and businness accounts)where in the last one i setup the autoreturn option and, as url, the local url where i have checkout_success.php (, even i setup the IPN option on sandbox.paypal but is indifferent...the problem remain;finally i setup, think properly, the admin side of that module.I run this module in my local site.

When i make an order, when i come back to my site i see that my shopping cart is empty but no mail is sent to the customer and not even to me.On the admin side i see the order, but product(s) quantity is not update and i don't see the order in admin->customres->PayPal IPN...

Now...where's the problem?

I also have had this problem. It is very frustrating. I also changed my paypal to paypal ipn. I was first aware of this problem when I was checking out paypal when I noticed a payment was recorded. I had just been at my admin site and saw there were no new orders. I then had to contact my client and ask him what item he had bought. I did not receive a email from the site or paypal regarding that an order or payment was received. Then I had a client contact me and said he had purchased an item. I did not receive email from the site that there had been an order (or even record of one on the admin page) or an email from paypal that payment had been received. I have had to contact more than one customer and asked them what item they purchased. I have noticed that sometimes I will receive an email from the site of an order that has been paid for through paypal ipn, have then gone to paypal to make sure payment was received (because once again no email notification) to find that the payment was not recorded. I would appreciate any help on how this can be fixed. And is it a paypal problem or a ocommerce site problem. >_<
