shaunklink Posted April 26, 2005 Share Posted April 26, 2005 Hello all. Well I am a somewhat experienced web developer, but I have never touched eCommerce. Anyways, I have this new client that means alot to me. They are only going to sell 1 product online (electronic device) and they want me to set this all up for them. We are going with Authorize.net for the gateway, etc. Heres the kicker though... They are very design orientated, and want everything custom but they also want to have the functionality of the live shipping quotes, invoicing, etc. They want it all to be seamless to not only them, but also the customer (i.e. no 2checkout, or paypal... everything needs to look like its coming from their site). Can I edit the look of osCommerce? if so, how much? How invisible is osCommerce? I am in need of a plan of attack, please, if anyone can suggest anything, let me know...It would be a great help. (BTW... Originally I was planning on using Authorize.net's hosted payment processing. Since its only one product being sold, I was going to create a form that just passed the QTY and shipping method to Authorize.net's processor. However, since they now want the whole shipping, invoice, report, etc etc backend stuff, this is why I am thinking about a pre-built shopping cart) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
