Oscommerc2.2 on local machine

-php 4.3.11 - apache 2.0.52 - mysql 4.0.18 working..

I wont to install oscommerce on my machine so i can try to edit the appearance

and to make my own oneline shop. I fllow the procedure of installing (make a database oscommerce marge it and finaly start the install/install.php) first ting that i got is "FATAL ERROR: register_globals is disabled in php.ini, please enable it!" so i go to the os site and download the register_globals_patch and try again.

Now the installation go fine and i bellived i solve the problem but then i got to the

"Catalog - Administration tool" menu first i choose admin tool and it works fine but when i choose Catalog i got:

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare tep_session_recreate() (previously declared in C:\root\oscommerce\catalog\includes\functions\sessions.php:178) in C:\root\oscommerce\catalog\includes\functions\sessions.php on line 222

 

I realize that the patch "Register_globals" overwrite a couple of files including the

sessions.php it must be some bug. If anyone have successfully install a oscommerce 2.2 or eny other vesion on a local machine i whoud be thankful if

you could tell me how. including the versions of php appache...
