Hiding Price & Add-to-Cart Buttons

Before I move forward with the "Hide Price if $0" contrib, I'm wondering if there is another option to hide just prices & "add to cart" capabilities for certain products for certain groups. We offer "freebies" from time to time & obviously, you can't do that with this contrib! It isn't a big deal, but I just wondered if I'd missed one.

Using B2B & "Hide Price" contribs to break products into two categories -- one set of products listed at full price for retail & discounted for wholesale, and one set that is advertising to retail only & prices only available for logged-in wholesale members.

Just asking because lately I don't seem to be getting good results when I search . . .

Thanks!

Wendy

I suppose that with B2B you surely can set a special price for a customer group, so give the freebies a special price of $0. Since "Hide Price if $0" only "operates" with the regular price, I think that should work. Of course you should set the regular price to something else than $0 for the freebie.

Aaaahhhh, very good-I can set special prices still, then. I wish I'd downloaded that contrib (instead of just bookmarking it) before that part of the site went down today. Enforced evening off! Woot! I'm going to go watch TV. Thank you, Jan, for your help!
