boxtel
PLease review my site http://www.ryford.com Constructive people only please.... pass me a url and I will do the same. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> very nice, only little point is that you have categories with no products in them. That is annoying. I would only show category links that go somewhere with content. Treasurer MFC
UnrivaledPC
Some of your thumbs are small and some are big, 403kb, I suggest you install a thumb-nail plug in. 'On the Fly' Auto Thumbnailer For the price of one of these watches you could have a professional web designer make you a sick web page. Instead your watches are displayed on a almost stock osc page. Which isn't a problem, just boggles my mind. I noticed your product name is included in your keywords. This is a good start. I would install a script to customize your tags for each item or atleast the hot sellers to strengthen your searches. Since you don't have a flashy site, I hope you have competive prices. Otherwise, people might not find you. I wish you luck, but your target audience is extremely small. I would keep your more affordable watches on your main page. Unless you have a unreal marketing agenda. Good Luck Either way man
Wendy James
Heck for the cost of one of those high end watches i would make a couple of sites and clean his house. LOL It's not bad, Your pop up images are really super clear which is good but your thumbnails are kidn of fuzzy. I would also suggest a thumbnail contribution if you dont want to make more than one size image. I would also suggest adding a middle sized image to the descriptions page. Its probably a personal thing but I like to see if i like something enough to bothe poppin up another window. I love that shade of blue. But it looks kind of blah once you get past the front page because there is just sooooooooooo much white everywhere. Good luck =) Wendy James Creativity is allowing yourself to make mistakes. dswofford
im a little confused by the thumb nail thing... I will add a middle size good idea but... i am using a contribution it resizes the jpeg an creats image name 60X80.jpg they look a lot better that what they do without it. If this is the case which one do you suggest as I dont want to slow load times. also i kinda agree on the blue but I cant think of how else to make it less of soooooooooo much white. any suggestions? :) thanks for the help guys and gals

I am having so many problems with my site at www.exquisitegold.com, that I am thinking of pulling it off as I am unable to even log into the OS commerce site to make changes to the site. One question I have for you is, How did you get the background of the pictures to be white? I will be in the market for a new watch soon and I am liking what I see........ Great site. Rob123
I hope that you feel that my comments below are constructive and not meant to insult or flame you. I do not like the fact that your contact us page forces the visitor to uncheck the newsletter subscription box. I understand that the visitor can uncheck the box and you provide a way to opt-out, but I feel that it's not right. I also noticed that the order_info.php site does not have a newsletter tick box. I also can not find the "opt-out mechanism" that your privacy page refers to. ...For example, our order form has an 'opt-out' mechanism so users who buy a product from us, but don't want any marketing material, can keep their email address off of our lists. Why do you need the following from customers: Gender? Date of Birth? Suburb? Why do you have a manufacturer's box when your categories are a list of your manufacturers? Many categories do not products. I assume that you're not done populating your database. What are your shipping methods/costs? Do you ship worldwide as your picklist suggests? BTW, "Watch School" and "Shipping & Returns" appear to have the same text. What type of payment methods do you accept? MC/Visa/Amex or other? Your buttons are stock and do not match the style of your site. I like your product images but can not comment on your site speed as I am on a fast connection. I think it would be appropiate for you to invest in your own SSL certificate. You have high ticket items and a cert costs only a few dollars. In my humble opinion, a shared cert looks like you are working out of your spare bedroom. Overall I like the design of your site, it's a bit stock but your quality pics make up for that. I would invest a few bucks on having someone work on the design or even just the buttons/images. Again, be carefull with your newsletters (and "newsletter center") as you may have people sign up their "friends" as a joke. Your only protection is to provide a double opt-in. Good luck, Robert

valeeum
You have a categories and a manufacturers box, yet your categories are your manufacturers!!! I would rename the categories box title "Manufacturers" and get rid of the manufacturers drop down box.
Simmy
Where do I get the time for this? Your sub-categories do not have pictures but it looks like they should have e.g. click on breitling and a whole bunch of categories is shown with just text and the products below, this leads the user to think the page hasn't finished downloading. Having said this, I've always wanted a breitling watch and may be a customer soon!!! The left navbar is too long too. Leads you to scroll down for nothing. Perhaps try to balance the two navbars out. Not bad though, i'm not dissin it. You've done well. Bin the fixed width template though, they're for people who are stuck in the 90's!
