I have tried both HTML and plain text sending options and I'm getting the same problem. My store is on Mac OS X server, so I'm pretty sure it's not an OS specific problem. Has anyone found the cause?

Did you try the "link" right above you that Rhea has suggested?

Tom

There is a newsletter to HTML mod and an order email in HTML format contrib in that thread. What I need is something to handle ALL of the outgoing mail, since this particular problem is also with the welcome message (as depicted above in Dave's original post). Will either of these also fix the welcome message?

A quick look at that contribution description did not say it would change anything regarding the "Welcome message" email. So to answer your question, "Will either of these also fix the welcome message?", I would say no.

So that leaves David and I with the existing problem of how to clean up the welcome message. Anybody have any ideas?
