Change the standard welcome message

:'( I'm new to oscommerce, and installing my hopefully, to be shop. I just can't find where to change the welcome message. I now have a message the shop is a trial. If somebody could gide me I would honestly appreciate it.

Hi Erica,

I can answer that question if nothing else.

You must follow the instructions on the original main page - exactly.

Do not get alarmed because you have changed it because the administrators have thought of people like us! You can download another copy from the Oscommerce website of the complete site. So you will need to browse through and find the original index.php file. I tried to change too much in one go. just make small changes and see how they work.

Now..........

Do not do what I did.

Always keep a backup of the original file and any successful changes to it. That way you can get your site back up in minutes.

You will note if you look through the other directories that there is more than one index.php file. That is another reason why it is important to follow the route through the folders from include to english.
