mils
Hi, I need to create site that have various product categories and once a design is selected there are various options that needs to be selected like weight front only or front and back lamination required on front side etc... the prize based on different selection is different and it is difficult to add all the combination as separate product because then the product list would have 1000 of items Could you guide me with the idea to use oscommerce for my site ? cheers, M
Wendy James
You could do all of that, would just need to install a couple of contributions. you would have to have all of the options set up as attributes though, I think Wendy James Creativity is allowing yourself to make mistakes. Art is knowing which ones to keep.

Jeremy at oddly enough
For a basic idea, look in my profile (click on my user name), and visit my site. Almost all of the tiles have on option for quantity, that adjusts the weight and price. Some of the quick order options also have an option for colour. That's a basic setup, just a few changes made from stock osc to make it look more orderly, and display the price in a more itelligible way. It is possible to have multiple attributes to modify a base product in many ways, and have the price changed accordingly. Jeremy
