rubygirl
how do i get the images to display correctly when secure and not secure?
Guest
all depends upon how your host requires ssl, some are in separate directories, others are not. could be also if you are making a 'static' call to them, ie http://www.domain.com/images/image.gif versus ./images/image.gif
rubygirl
this box happens to be a plesk box and i have 2 separate directories - however the error only presents itself in IE - haven't had this problem with other stores with similar setup so i am confused with what to check... spottedhaggis
I had the exact same issue. My host allows me to http or https the same link, so all I did was edit the configuration files and reffer the link to be called from https instead of http. My issue was with the header and footer images mainly, but having those images pulled in from https://www. instead of /inames/imagefilename worked perfect for me.
