Guest
I changed servers recently and all was running fine after a few hickups with transfering the database were fixed. Its been on the new server for about a week and a half now with no problems. In fact I recieved 3 orders with no probs today. I logged in tonight to mark off some orders as processed and while was there I thought Id go in and change a few settings and found out that all the modules are no longer installed! They have just disapeared! Theres no Payment, Shipping or order Total. So went to check that all those files were still there, which they are. I FTP'd them again just incase, but it made no difference. All i have under each section is the moduel directory path for each one. I wne to the shop and it still processes the order, but just minus the shipping, payment and order total. The customer just recieves an email with all these things missing. Anyone have any idea what could have happened?
Guest
did you transfer all of the program files? just transferring the database without your program files could do this. also, what about your configure.php files, are they setup for the new site or the old site? if they were setup to the old, and dns has propogated now, could be the reason too. Guest
I posted this before having a good look around, and it seems that alot of people have had this problem........ with one difference, it was working for a week and a half for me after I moved servers. Then just stopped!

We are on a windows platform now, and this is not an issue. From memory, the permissions sould be set at 777, I'm sure if you look into posts previous, you will find this data, as I did in the past Best Wishes John Det CV21 England
Guest
Thanks John. I did go in late last night and look at the permissions and notice a heap were out of whack. I did change them, but it apeared to make no difference. I think I must have missed some. Do they need to be 777 along the whole path, or just the module folders and files? From memory, we changed one set of permissions at the includes/modules level. Try searching using "modules", and you will find the posts which led me to this.
