I woulkd like to learn how to build a website

I dont even know where to begin with this, I would like to build my own website. we have one but we dont like it much its not live yet. as we are doing some work on the images etc, it would be nice to know how to and where to start. i dont have a very good programme for it . i have Webuild 09 please can somebody get me started I dont want to go off a template really.

rent/buy a book that goes through the basics of html, try things for yourself, and... well, be patient :)

 

And where to start? guess thats up to you, as what you are going to start doing.

 

Dreamweaver is the program that i would recommend for using to build websites (and some decent image software aswell[paint shop pro?])

 

And always remember to go whining in the forums if you stumble upon some problems :D

please post a copy of your website so that I can take a look at it and maybe that way I can give you afew ideas. I would recommend using dreamweaver for designing your pages. Look forward to hearing from you.

Hi Thanks. I want to have a completley new website in replacment of the one we have, but a better one maybe with moving text and moving graphics. spec in the banner at the top. some boxes that move when u put your cursor over them. just an easy site thats easy on the eye and easy to use. and becasue it will be my first ever . something nice to brag about LOL.. :rolleyes:
