chrispalle Posted April 19, 2005 Posted April 19, 2005 Hi, I've been perusing the contributions for quite sometime now looking for something that will allow me to add 'sub attributes.' By this I mean, I need to have an attribute, that could allow for multiple attributes under that one attribute. Also, i need a way to express multiple values under one attribute (which I think is the way it works now) Example: I. Attribute (no value) i Sub- Attribute (value) i Sub- Attribute (value) II. Attribute (value) III. Attribute (no value) i sub-attribute (value) IV. Attribute (valueA)(ValueB)(ValueC) etc etc..... I imagine it to work something the way categories work: You can have a category within a category and products within the top category, but each product in a sub-category has its own qualties. (also, the way there can be an unlimited number of categories within categories illustrates my idea) The thing is, I don't need these attributes to be selectable from the user's side; that is, I don't need users selecting different options from drop-downs, checkboxes, etc. I just want them to be visible and organized neatly. The real benefit for me will be on the data entry side. Anybody know anything? Thanks, Chris
