Vhosts Issue

hi everyone,

 

1)

i have a domain

www.domain.com

and 2 subdomains

admin.domain.com

shop.domain.com

2)

http://www.domain.com points to ' /var/www/domain.com/htdocs'

 

http://shop.domain.com points to ' /var/www/domain.com/htdocs/catalog'

4)

_____ otherdirectories/

|

htdocs |______catalog/

|

|_______admin/

 

5) when i calling the shop.domain.com

 

i get it showed just fine

but if i start browsing the

 

catalog/ <-> http://shop.domain.com

for example calling/clicking on icon/(index.php?cPath=2) like category icons or whatever

 

the URL showed in the browser changes to

 

http:// www.domain.com/catalog/index.php?cPath=2

i just want the URL to remain

http:// shop.domain.com/index.php?cPath=2

ill be glad for any help to get this done i have readed the rewrite dcumentation for apache-2.0.53 and its lil bit too complex for me since iam new to apache issue

6) iam running apache 2.0.53 on gentoo linux 2.6.12-rc1
