new home page

Hi,

I recently created a new home page for my website.

When I upload the new index file, instead of www.mysite.com/catalog/default.php,

it just loads www.mysite.com.

Naturally, I lose all the nice features, like the side boxes and a Live support link that was on my previous home page.

I am rather inexperienced in matters of Web design, and worse when it comes to OSCommerce.

Could some one please let me know how to get my new index to load properly with the catalog files.

thanks,

Gijoy.

Basically, you'll need to splice the various sections of your html file into your OSCommerce shop. Most of this can be done by adding the appropriate html from your index.html file into your header.php, footer.php, column_left.php, column_right.php and stylesheet.css.

NOTE: As of Oct 2006, I'm not as active in this forum as I used to be, but I still work with osC quite a bit.

If you have a question about any of my posts here, your best bet is to contact me though either Email or PM in my profile, and I'll be happy to help.
