Guest Posted April 17, 2005 Posted April 17, 2005 I have a client who's been using OSC successfully for a couple of years and now has more than 5000 customers in her database, and more than 17,000 orders. Question: how and what do we prune out of the database to keep it from becoming overloaded? Right now it's more than 25MB all by itself, and we'd like to keep the customer database and customer info, but prune out the old orders from previous years. Is there a quick and safe way to do this?
FalseDawn Posted April 17, 2005 Posted April 17, 2005 25 MB is relatively tiny for a database. What is your main concern? Do you think the store is slowing down, or is it the administrative side that's becoming more of a hassle?
