Customizing osCommerce

Hi, I'm a web designer who knows nothing about PHP. My store is already designed, I just need a simple shopping cart I can install and integrate into my site. I downloaded and successfully installed osCommerce. I downloaded but not so successfully installed the STS plugin. Things are not working as they should, and I am not able to edit the PHP files without some degree of confusion. Is there someone who could help me figure out how to fix things?

Should look like

http://www.merciboutique.com/index2.html

The STS template page looks like

http://www.merciboutique.com/shop/includes/template.html

Obviously, the cart plugin commands aren't executing and I don't know why.

Hi, first you have to make this change

"The text shown here can be modified in the following file, on each language basis:

[path to catalog]/includes/languages/english/index.php"

Yes, thanks everyone. I'm not familiar with PHP so I didn't know I had to put the STS tag inside the ?>, that I had to put a \ in front of ' in the english/index.php file, et cetera. I'm still learning. Default for OSCommerce uses tables to define everything and I gave up using tables in favor of DIV layers, so I'm having to adjust. Thanks again for your help. :)
